The latest film from Gurinder Chadha – she of 'Bhaji On The Beach' and 'Bend It Like Beckham' fame – is to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival later this month. The supernatural comedy 'It's A Wonderful Afterlife' will be screened aside from the festival's previously reported competition films.

Chadha says: "I am delighted to premiere my film at Sundance having had such a long and happy relationship with the festival. Since it is the festival for independent filmmakers, I feel especially pleased because 'It's a Wonderful Afterlife' is a truly independent British-Indian co-production".
