Bit of an awkward headline, that, sorry. The news is that London's Brockley Jack Studio Theatre is to stage three new plays by writers who have a connection with south east London. The venue invited submissions of previously un-produced works in September last year for its Write Now season, which kicks off on 16 Feb.
It all begins with a week long run of 'Compression' by Joy Wilkinson, and will be followed by 'Fighting' by Tom Green, from 23 February. The final play, 'The Bitch From Brixton', by Kate Gallon and Kate-Lynn Hocking opens on 2 March.
