BBC2 has commissioned a ninety minute drama about Boy George, to be made by Red Production Company, and starring Mathew Horne as Culture Club drummer Jon Moss, Mark Gatiss as Malcolm McLaren, and Marc Warren as nightclub type Steve Strange. 'Worried About The Boy', which also features newcomer Douglas Booth in the lead role, is part of the channel's upcoming eighties season.

BBC controller of drama commissioning Ben Stephenson says this: "Worried About the Boy' will be an evocative and visually enticing drama about one of our most iconic British pop stars".
